Dearest CFHA Members -
'Tis the season to be jolly and to start nominating for TWO vacant position on the CFHA Board!
After resurrecting the CFHA and spearheading it the past few years, Blair Corcoran '06 is stepping down. On behalf of the CFHA we would like to thank Blair for her passion and commitment in leading and serving as the President of the Board of Directors and CFHA!! You have really made a significant impact on reinvigorating the association with your energy and drive. Thank you again for everything, you truly will be missed!
Maureen (Sullivan) Mauk '01 is also stepping down as Co-Chair of the Communication Committee as she just gave birth to her first born last week! Congratulations Maureen on your beautiful baby boy Finnegan Moose Mauk, we are very excited to add another family member to CFHA. On behalf of the CFHA we would also like to thank you for all of your contributions to the Board and CFHA.
The nominating committee is accepting nominations for the President and Co-Chair of the Communications Committee. Each position is a two year term. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, December 21st. Please send nominations to Kaitlin Tierney '04 at kaitlin.tierney@gmail.com
Once nominations have been accepted, voting will be open for two weeks at the beginning of 2013.
The descriptions of the positions include:
President - As President, you will oversee all CFHA programs, heads up all meetings, and works with other members to stay true to the mission and empower CFHA members.
Co-Chair of the Communications Committee - As co-lead on the Communications Committee, you will write content, organize and publish the monthly newsletters and CFHA information. You will ensure that the mission of CFHA is communicated to our network of supporters. You will also manage the CUFH website.
